What are Chipotle chillies?

Chipotles are a chilli pepper often enjoyed in Mexican cuisine, but they're also increasingly popular worldwide as an ingredient in many dishes. Chipotle peppers are smoked, and dried jalapenos - typically wrinkly, dark-coloured and have a smoky-sweet flavour. Our dried chipotle peppers have been rehydrated to make this chilli puree, but they can also be used dried as chipotle powder or even chipotle flakes.
